A Nono hair removal alternative – the epilator

This blog is mainly about the No No hair removal device, but I like to be thorough here and give you guys info on alternative hair removal methods and devices. In this hair removal tutorial from pursebuzz.com, she gives a review of the Emjoi epilators. I’ve never really used an epilator personally, but I gotta admit, it definitely looks like she got some good results using it to remove the hairs from her underarms. I get great results with my nono, but maybe sometimes I’ll do an epilator review for you guys.

Today I’m gonna talk about an embarrassing topic. It’s something that a lot of us have suffered from, and I know exactly how it feels. I have really dark hair, and really fair skin, so wherever hair grows, you can see it, especially when it’s under my arms.

If I’m wearing a tank top or if I’m wearing a fancy dress, I will have to epilate because if I don’t, then I’m gonna get a 5:00 shadow. I’ve seen girls with it, and it’s not really a pretty sight. It sucks because sometimes there’s nothing really we can do about it. But a way to prevent it, or a way to help really alleviate it as much as possible is to use an epilator.

What an epilator does is actually tweezes the hair from the roots. No, it doesn’t grow back thicker, it’s exactly like tweezing 1 at a time, it’s just doing it much faster.

I’ve recently been introduced to a new epilator, it’s the Emjoi Emagine. It has 72 tweezers on here so it’s faster and it gets more surface area, and it doesn’t hurt, well actually it doesn’t hurt under my arms but I’m really used to it. You just gotta get past the sound. That’s probably the scariest part for me.

So this one right here is really cool because it helps get more surface area quicker. And also you’re gonna be hairless for a long time. Hair grows in cycles, I think it’s a 6 week cycle so you’ll have 1 group of hair grow, then you’ll have another group. So you’re not gonna completely eliminate it, you’ll have to use this for a month, every week, every few days, then eventually you’re going to be able to get rid of the hair and you won’t have to do it as much.

I’ve noticed that my hair has grown back thinner, and I like that, because you it’s really embarrassing. You’re dancing, you’re partying, and you’ve got this really dark , dark hair underneath.

This will get rid of it from the roots so you don’t see those little black little spots, little roots that are leftover when you shave. Also for me when I shave because I have some scars too is that you get the ingrown hair. They have these little balls and you have to kind of squeeze them out you know, and just kind of clear it out, exfoliate it and that’s a pain.

The other one I talked about last year was the Emjoi Soft Caress, which is great. It’s a rechargeable so you can take this traveling and you don’t need to bring the cord with you. The new one also Emjoi so I really like that brand. This one right here you do have to charge, you have to have it plugged in at all times for it to work. But I like it because it’s huge and it gets a lot more surface area. It just depends if you want something that you can take with you without having to plug in. I’ve convinced myself that this is fine, at first I though it sucked, but I bring a curling iron and the flat iron so it’s not a big deal. I’ll deal with it because it’s amazing.

I want to show you guys on my armpits how it’s gonna work. If you get a bit squeamish you probably want to turn the channel right now. Allright, so here it is, my armpit, I’ve got scars underneath from shaving, but I’m gonna show you how this thing works, I’m not gonna zoom in anywhere because it’s sort of a TMI type of thing but I’m gonna show you.

See how these are right here. It’s scary, but it’s the best thing ever. Grabs it, yanks em out, grabs it, yanks em out, leaving a nice smooth finish. Allright, here we go. You gotta look, you have to look to see what you’re doing because if not, it’s gonna suck your skin in here. It’s not gonna hurt, it’s just gonna startle you and if you keep it in there for a long time you’re gonna get redness.

I like to do this the day after, like in the morning. If I shower at night do this in the morning so it’s not as painful. You can also put baby powder to soften it, but just go right into it. Hope you guys can see. It doesn’t hurt, I don’t feel anything. It’s not red. And look, I don’t have that circle that’s underneath when you shave your armpits.

So that’s my open to the world demonstration there, something you do behind closed doors. I highly, highly recommend checking out an epilator. This one right here you can get at beautychoice.com. This is probably the best one because there’s more tweezer heads right here compared to the one from last year that I have and still love. This one, you can see it has twice as much so it’s faster. This one is cheaper, and this one is a little bit more so you can go onto their website.

For those of you who are interested about facial hair removal and want to know, you can actually use these on your face. Go like this, and then you can just do it. It’ll tweeze them out for you, it’s exactly like threading. Gets it on your face and on the sides, your bikini area and your legs.

For me I tried this on my legs. There are some areas you feel the pinch, then there are some areas I can just go on no problem and you get used to it. I haven’t tried my upper part of my legs because I’m a little scared, but I’m gonna get used to it because I think that this is so amazing. Why wouldn’t you want to get rid of your hair?

It’s not a permanent hair removal, but it’s something that will help your hair from growing back faster. Epilating is like tweezing, if you’re like me, you tweeze your armpit hair and you get the red bumps. Or you can just use an epilator like this. I’ve got nice, smooth armpits!

So there you go, a very open, candid, pursebuzz.com video. I hope that I’ve helped some of you guys because I wanted to introduce thie amazing new epilator, the Emagine wit an E, and you can get this again at beautychoice.com. It comes with 1 setting and 2 settings, so it can be a little bit stronger. It comes with a bag like this and it comes with a brush so you can brush off all the hair. It removes hair from as short as .4 millimeters, so you don’t have to wait for it to grow.

So that’s it, this is the Emjoi Emagine. I totally recommend either getting this one, or this one. I’ve had some questions about other ones, I’ve never tried it, I’ve had the Braun hair removal with the light and it sucked, it hurt and it burned, and it was just all kinds of awful. I don’t even know why because it looks exactly like this, but it just really hurts. So I would only recommend the Emjoi, these 2.

If you have any other hair removal tips, tricks, exfoliating, how to get rid of the bumps or the scarring underneath, let me know! Thanks again for joining me at pursebuzz.com, bye!
